Teresa Jaynes, Cultural Consultant

As founder and principal of ABOVEblue Projects, Teresa partners with museums, academic institutions, cultural organizations, and environmental education centers to develop projects from the ground up. Projects are shaped by the new knowledge and creative practices that emerge through integrative thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration. Her work centers on artist- and community-led initiatives that connect art, public history, and education—most notably realized through Lenapehoking~Watershed, a collaboration between art professionals and environmental education leaders.

Teresa brings a collaborative, equity-centered approach to projects that do not fit neatly within a single institution or discipline. She builds partnerships among artists, scholars, cultural leaders, and community members to create meaningful public experiences. Accessibility is at the heart of every project — whether through inclusive planning processes, universal design in exhibitions, or the creation of public spaces that foster connection and belonging.
